About
Every piece has a second life in it.
Antique maps and prints spend decades darkening, tearing, and foxing in attics and frames. The craft is in coaxing them back — carefully, reversibly, and with respect for the object — so the artistry the original engraver intended can be seen again.
Each restoration here is documented as a before-and-after so you can watch the transformation and learn the history behind it. When a piece is ready to find a new home, it'll appear in the shop.
